The staff were extremely friendly. Location was perfect in the downtown area next to the beach and the road, stores, and the centre of town. Our experience here was very good, would come back for sure.

It had a magnificent and incredible setting adjacent to beaches, supermarkets, stores and restaurants, the communal areas and the centre. Mohamed was the best host ever...

I loved the cozy and quiet atmosphere, it made me feel so relaxed. The balcony in my double room was perfect for enjoying the fresh air. And the fireplace added such a cozy touch, it was like being at home. it was just a really comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

The only thing I didn't really like was that the triple room didn't have a private entrance. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The rooms at Tropicana Home Stay in Arugam Bay are absolutely amazing! The double room I stayed in had a cozy fireplace and a lovely balcony where I could enjoy the views. It had a very homely and comfortable vibe, making me feel relaxed and at ease. The tile/marble floor added to the charm of the room. it was the perfect retreat for a young holiday goer like me!

But, I must admit, I wasn't a big fan of the private entrance in the triple room. It felt a bit secluded and disconnected from the main part of the home stay.

I stayed at Tropicana for a week and had an amazing time. The location is perfect, with the main street just outside but no noise inside the room. The beach is only a few metres away and the main surf spot is close by. The rooms are bright and spacious with big windows, and everything is very clean. The hot water shower is a bonus, and the outside patio is a nice place to relax. The Wifi is good, and I felt safe throughout my stay. The family who runs the hotel is friendly and welcoming, and they speak excellent English. They were extremely helpful with everything I needed, and I especially appreciated their laundry service. Their shop next door is convenient for any last-minute purchases. The breakfast options were varied and delicious, whether you prefer Sri Lankan or European style. I had an authentic and enjoyable experience at Tropicana and I highly recommend it. I will definitely be returning.

We had an amazing time at Tropicana Home Stay. The location is perfect, just steps away from the beach and all the shops and restaurants. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed and taken care of. The tuktuk safari they arranged for us was a highlight of our stay. The breakfast was delicious and freshly made every morning. We would definitely stay at Tropicana again when we visit next year. highly recommended!
